The Trailhunter combines upgraded suspension, trail-oriented tires, recovery hardware and additional underbody protection with the rugged character of the Tundra.

The 2027 Tundra brings a refreshed exterior design, updated technology and the newly available Trailhunter package.
According to Toyota, the Trailhunter package is based on the Tundra SR5 grade and is designed for customers looking for enhanced factory-built capability for overlanding and off-road exploration.

Toyota specifies Michelin® LTX® Trail 265/70R18 tires, paired with distinctive bronze-colored wheels.
Additional Underbody Protection
Additional underbody protection provides another layer of equipment for drivers heading into more challenging terrain.

The Trailhunter also features front recovery hooks, adding practical recovery equipment to its factory configuration.

Toyota says the package includes key off-road technologies including Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control and a locking rear differential, supporting traction and control across different challenging conditions.

More Than Capability
The 2027 Toyota Tundra also receives updates designed to improve its technology and connectivity.
Toyota says the new Tundra features the latest-generation Toyota Audio Multimedia system with a standard 14-inch screen. The system includes a smartphone-style interface, customizable widgets and updated voice-assistant functionality.
The 2027 Tundra also introduces Toyota Safety Sense™ 4.0, the latest version of Toyota’s active safety and driver-assistance suite.
